A little kennel with a long memory
Phantom Aussies began in 2018 with one blue merle male and a simple conviction: that a great Australian Shepherd should be healthy, sound and stable in temperament before it is anything else.
We are a home-based program in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Our dogs sleep on the bed, compete on the weekend, and meet every visitor at the door. We breed rarely and deliberately — and we stay in our puppies’ lives for as long as they live.
What “health-tested” means here
Before any dog is bred, it passes every one of these. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
Hips (FCI / OFA) and elbows evaluated and scored after 24 months of age.
Annual ophthalmologist (ECVO/ACVO) eye exams and BAER hearing tests.
MDR1, PRA-prcd, CEA/CH, HC, DM and NCL — cleared by test or parentage.
Evaluated in the show ring and in sport before any breeding decision.
